I learned a lot from my former career in education (we won’t get into those stories here), but one thing really stood out:

You need to make it all about THEM.
Understand their needs.
Add value to their lives.
Build that coveted know, like, and trust.
And you do that all though… I bet you can guess. Story.
No matter if you’re talking to a room full of booger-slinging kiddos (I’ve seen some things) or an email list full of warm leads…
Your stories are the driving force in reaching your goals.

As a teacher, I had to REALLY know my students and speak to them from a place of understanding.
I used stories to capture their attention, add emotion to a lesson, and gain their trust. (Lacking authority in a room full of kids is a scary thought!)
But now? These skills are just a small part of what I use to write damn-good copy that captures exactly what your audience needs to hear in a way that sounds like you. Maybe even a little better.
So basically, my words make badass entrepreneurs like you…

I’m a life-long creative who always has to be working on something. One of those people who knows they should rest and take a break, but ends up doing something else instead. Yea, that’s me.
I’m a nature nerd who loves taking quiet walks in the forest and listening to the songs created by the birds and the wind rustling through the trees.
I’m a person who values mindfulness and dedicates time to practice yoga every day.
Interestingly, I find these things that I’m passionate about outside of work actually help me when I’m writing too. It’s pretty great!
